New York City: Jan 2007

The year of 2007 started with a trip to America - we departed from Schiphol Amsterdam airport on Jan 7th ... headin' for JKF and the ultimate destination ... the CITY that never sleeps. We also brought Bear with us ... click here to experience NYC through Bear's eyes. After collecting our luggage, we jumped excitedly in our pre-arranged airport limo and made our way to the junction of 43rd Street and 8th Avenue ... Westin Hotel Time Square. Location ... location ... location!! We were in the middle of ALL the excitement - above is a map to visualise the surroundings!
We had a cozy room on a high floor - as you can see in the above shot. We had a view that reached all the way to the Port which brought back some sentimental feelings of my cruise ship life when I was based in NYC, doing 7 day cruises to Bermuda. OHHHHH the fond memories!
