St. Vitus Cathedral

As I wrote in my previous post, the St. Vitus Cathedral is a towering spectacle in the Prague skyline with its haunting, Gothic, structure - located just after the impressive Baroque Mathias Gate - it houses the crown jewels and the tomb of Wenceslas. It has a total of 28 chapels, with 3 tiered domes, holds the SIGISMUND, the largest bell in Bohemia and has 297 steps leading to the top of the tower (did not attempt this).

I could easily upload 50 pictures of this architectural wonder AND you still would not get a complete taste of its real majestic presence.
Unfortunately, we did not manage to go inside since the line to enter was maaaaassive on the Saturday and it was closed on the Sunday when we returned to take some more peaceful photos. So, this will be a task that will be prioritized at the absolute TOP of my task list on my next visit to Prague.
