Waves on the Reef in Tahiti

This posting is mainly another visual from the beach of our hotel - Le Meridien in Tahiti. For about 3 days, there seemed to be some unusual patterns in the local waters that caused some rather large unseasonal waves to curl up against the surrounding reef. They were quite spectacular!! Below are some of the shots of nature's power.
