Gondola Ride on Vltava River

On the first day in Prague, it was cloudy and a comfortable 26 degrees but the remaining 3 days of our 4 day weekend were HOT HOT HOT (like the song says) at 28 to 36 degrees with beautiful blue skies. So we got great pleasure from the refreshing private gondola ride along the Vltava River. After our 07:30 start, to the Charles Bridge and the climb up to the Prague Castle in the 34 degree temperatures, we really enjoyed the breeze and relaxation as we passed bridges and the many sights of Prague along this winding river.
We were quite impressed with the statues that could be found at the base of the many bridges along the Vltava River. We took many photos and never got bored with the diversified scenery along the route.
